- Our
Platinum body jewellery is made from Platinum
(950/1000), the most elite of all the precious
metals. It is perfect for body jewellery as it is
used for surgical implants and heart pace makers.
- There is no
nickel in it - we have had all our products
tested and they comply fully with all the new EU
regulations.
- If you have
not yet or have only recently been pierced it is
best to wear titanium until the piercing is fully
healed (your piercer will advise if you are
unsure) as platinum is 35% heavier than 18ct.
Gold and more than twice the weight of stainless
steel, the extra weight may delay healing in some
people. Once you are fully healed you can wear
your platinum body jewellery all the time and for
as long as you like.
- We recommend
Metalmorphosis (Specialist Body Piercers) for
Piercings and advice. Please see full details in
our
terms & conditions
section.
- Healing
times will vary according to where your piercing
is.
- It is best
to have your new piercing done after a holiday or
going to a festival to avoid the risk of
infection.
- Be aware of
your piercing every day when you wash and check
the end bead is screwed on tightly.
- Always wash
the piercing with saline solution.
- Never touch
the Piercing with dirty hands.
- Always ask
a piercer to remove it for you.
- Always
consult your piercer for advice and your doctor
for medical advice.
- Rider & Rider
decline any and all responsibility from any
injury arising from any misuse of any product. If
you have ANY doubt about the performance of an
item do not purchase.
- Sometimes
the body reacts to invasive objects. It may be
that it is not the quality of the metal the body
is reacting to but the fact that there is an
intrusion into the skin. If this happens
consult your piercer or doctor.
- If your piercing becomes
infected do not remove your piercing but consult your piercer
or doctor immediately.
